👋 Hello everyone,
Stephen Covey said, “Synergy is better than my way or your way. It’s our way.”
Here are a few resources you might have missed:
📚 Book Summary:
This week's book is "Split the Pie" by Barry Nalebuff.
Written by Yale professor Barry Nalebuff, this book is perfect if you dislike haggling and prefer outcomes that feel fair for both sides, and utilize a mathematical approach.
One of my favorite takeaways from the book is this:
"Trying to determine which side contributes more to the pie is like asking which is more important to the Reese's peanut butter cup, the chocolate or the peanut butter? There's no answer to that question. You need both."
✅ Actionable advice:
One of the hardest tests in leadership is rising above your own ego—not to diminish your contribution, but to elevate the outcome. Instead of focusing on your own effort and how you deserve more, think about how you can align with the opposition to create something bigger—because strategic leaders don't just divide the pie; they expand it.
Have a great week!
